The Maharashtra Iphone Tragedy Through the Lens of Dushivisha and Garavisha: An Ayurvedic Perspective on Chronic Toxicity in Family Relationships

The tragic deaths of three Chandgude family members at Khavdya Hill on August 21, 2026, highlight how unresolved family conflicts, consumerist pressure, and social media influence can act as chronic psychological poisons. This communication examines the tragedy through DushiVisha (latent poison) and GaraVisha (artificially concocted poison) concepts from Ayurvedic toxicology (AgadaTantra). The paper argues that years of accumulated grief, property disputes, and materialistic pressures created slow-acting psychological toxicity that ultimately manifested in acute crisis.
